We awoke to a very rare landscape this week with the whole of our beautiful city covered in snow. For those of you who don’t know, Launceston is only a short distance away from the Ben Lomond Ski Resort but to see the city covered in snow is a once in a lifetime occurrence.

There were reports of people getting up in the night to make snowmen and have snowball fights and social media was full of snow memories.

We are back to a normal Tasmanian winter now.  A little chilly but with clear blue skies and for now, Covid-19 free.
